FPI & ASISA Foundation: Empowering Vulnerable Communities
“Formalising a shared goal to make financial planning an integral part of every South African’s life.”
A Legacy of Collaboration
Since 2017, the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa (FPI) and the ASISA Foundation have worked in tandem to promote financial literacy. In 2022, this relationship reached new heights with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), formalising an alliance dedicated to delivering impactful, objective financial education to South Africa’s most vulnerable communities.
The ASISA Foundation, established in 2012, has already empowered over 80,000 beneficiaries, refining financial education initiatives that foster sustainable social impact.

Targeted guidance for micro-business owners on credit management, succession planning, and long-term goal setting.
Objective & Free of Charge
All educational information and advice offered by FPI volunteers during these programmes is conducted independently, objectively, and free of charge, ensuring the integrity of the guidance provided.
