Getting to Know Ryan McCaughey, CFP®

Ryan grew up in the Eastern Cape and matriculated from St Andrews College. He earned both his B.Com degree and B.Com Honours in Financial Analysis from Stellenbosch University, driven by a deep-seated passion for investments.
With 12 years of experience across the investment industry—spanning roles as a portfolio analyst, equity analyst, and portfolio manager—Ryan joined Hewett Wealth (Pty) Ltd in 2017. He was instrumental in establishing their Western Cape branch in Cape Town.
A dedicated member of the Financial Planning Institute, Ryan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and the recipient of the prestigious 2021 FPI Financial Planner of the Year Award. He lives in Cape Town with his wife, Ashleigh, and their twins, Noah and Saige.
