Mpho is a Certified Financial Planner and a highly experienced authentic leader with a passion for leading and developing high-performing teams and organisations. He is very innovative and creative, as well as devising and implementing strategies to start and grow sustainable businesses. He has been tasked with challenging positions at ABSA, FNB, and NBC Holdings that have allowed him to use his background as a strategic leader to turn these businesses around as well as maintain a sustainable competitive advantage.
He is currently Head of Market Access and Development at Momentum Metropolitan, reporting to the CEO of Momentum Financial Planning and his previous role was Head of Business Development and Financial Planning.
Furthermore, he has extensive knowledge in the financial services industry and is an experienced Key Individual with management oversight and product experience. He is very competent in the following disciplines: Financial management and accounting knowledge and procedures; Research analysis I; Interpretation and verification of financial statements; Report writing, Cost analysis, ratio analysis, and budgeting
He also has a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, an MBA from Milpark Education, a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the University of the Free State, an Executive Development Programme from Wits Business School, an Associate in Management Practises from UCT Graduate School of Business, and a programme in strategy and innovation from Oxford University’s Said Business School.
