Ms Thokozani Radebe is a distinguished Attorney, Notary, and Conveyancer with an impressive academic background. She earned a Bachelor of Social Science and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of KwaZulu Natal (KZN).

Furthering her education, she obtained a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning from the University of free-state (UFS). She also holds a Certificate in Corporate Governance and a Certificate in Pensions Law from Unisa. Her advanced studies culminated in a Master of Laws in Financial Planning Law from UFS. These qualifications underpin her broad expertise in various legal and financial disciplines.

In her professional capacity, Thokozani Radebe specializes in Property Law, Commercial and
Corporate Law, Family Law, Estate Planning and Administration, Trust Administration, and Civil Litigation. Her extensive experience spans numerous financial institutions, providing her with deep insights into their operations and governance requirements. Her role as Chairperson of the Durban Child and Youth Care Centre highlights her commitment to impactful leadership, exemplified by her successful implementation of a five-year strategic funding plan that ensures the Centre’s sustainability amidst financial challenges.

Currently, Thokozani serves on several boards including being Chairperson of the Durban Child and Youth Care Centre. She is also a member of the Financial Planning Institute’s Certification Advisory Panel and Chairperson of the TAX Board KZN. She served as a Board Member of the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA). Additionally, she lectures in Master of Accounting in Taxation at the University of KwaZulu Natal (KZN). Her experience with the PPRA has enhanced her understanding of the strategic and operational needs of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), including compliance with legislative frameworks such as the PFMA and King IV.
