Enjoyed a successful career, in excess of 30 years, as a generalist within the financial services industry, culminating in achieving an executive management position, before proceeding on early-retirement. Obtained a B degree in Management Leadership (Cum Laude) and, upon retiring, completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning.
Early into retirement, I shared my experience and skill set within the financial services sector as a business analyst, assisting companies towards maximising operational efficiencies, with the aim of enabling them to achieve an ISO 9001 accreditation. The experience provides a further value add within the financial planning sector.
The adverse experience in having been unprepared for early retirement, led to entry into the financial planning industry, taking experience to support others, ensuring a level of preparedness before and after retirement, focusing on the risk of unexpected changes in lifestyle.
