Financial Educational Workshop

The Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa (FPI) has a programme called FPIMyMoney123TM which could add value to many peoples lives, ranging from high school students to those planning for retirement and everyone in between.

The programme:
The programme is presented in the form of a workshop facilitated by a FPI professional member and is offered to:

• Corporates
• Church Groups
• School Groups
• Investors

Topics:
The FPIMyMoney123TM workshop covers topics which include:

• Budgeting
• Debt Management
• Savings and investments

If you have a group of people who want to hear about a specific topic like retirement planning, then we can customise the session to meet the need of your audience. We do not sell any product or promote any financial service provider in these sessions because the aim is to educate consumers on the basics of personal financial planning.

Costs of the FPIMyMoney123TM workshop:
The workshop is a financial education community outreach programme and will not cost you anything. It is offered as pro bono work by our professional members

How much does the workshop cost:
In order to set up a session we will need the following from you at least two weeks in advance:

• date,
• time,
• venue and
• number of delegates.

The workshop runs for one and a half hours and it would be ideal if there were a minimum of 15 delegates per workshop. We will provide all the materials for the session so there is no need for anyone attending to bring anything with them.

What happens after the workshop?
At the end of the workshop all delegates will be invited to join our mailing list if they are interested in on-going financial planning information. People on our mailing list will also be considered for financial planning research projects and will be kept in the loop about other financial planning literacy activities or events happening in their area. the aim is to educate consumers on the basics of personal financial planning.
